Fifth among the Major Arcana, The Pope represents enlightenment, education and traditions. People with this energy are enlightened, teachers and keepers of traditions. They can teach and learn, having access to divine knowledge, transmitted and shared. They are rule-abiding, extremely authoritative and influential over other people.
Conditions of The Pope
Positively
- Enlightened. You are moving confidently toward your goals and may have already succeeded in reaching the summit. You firmly accept all challenges and do not give up, you take responsibility and understand your mission. You believe in yourself and know that after you have walked the earthly path, you will know the Universe.
- Teacher and student. You spend your whole life accumulating, systematizing and increasing knowledge. It is believed that in your youth it is important to find a Mentor, a person who will pass on to you the knowledge accumulated earlier. And in adulthood, on the contrary, you have students with whom you can share your knowledge or experience.
- An authoritative specialist. You have a lot of knowledge on a particular issue, which has increased your authority in the eyes of others. You are a good speaker and boldly preach your principles to everyone. Your passion and dedication to your ideas infects those around you; they follow you with great pleasure. You are rarely interested in material wealth, but knowledge is often very expensive.
- Guardian of traditions. You honor all traditions; it is important for you to be in a certain value system, to follow laws and principles. The observance and transmission of family traditions is also an integral part of your life. You honor sacred family kinship and have a beneficial effect on relationships with relatives.
- Just Judge. In your life, justice occupies one of the main places. You honor and sacredly believe in the principles you have adopted, based on which you determine your actions. At some point in life, because of the authority you have acquired, you can become a kind of unofficial judge.
Negatively
- Internal conflict. By following the accepted rules and traditions, it may be impossible for you to gain knowledge and advance toward the truth. Every time, running into a dead end of misunderstanding, you are forced to suffer, as there is no way to get rid of the internal pressure. At the same time, you cannot share it with someone lest you jeopardize your authority. A classic example is that all the men in your family are traditionally blacksmiths, and you in your soul would like to become a chemist.
- Controller. Checking that everything is happening correctly is one of your favorite pastimes. You will jealously and scrupulously check everything and everyone around you in order to achieve compliance with ideal order and traditions. On the negative side, this trait is strongly expressed and you literally drive family members and colleagues to hysteria with your boredom.
- Inquisitor. You can be literally obsessed with your concept of truth, which can harm others. In the negative you declare a "witch hunt" and, because of your authority, gather a significant army, ready to "burn at the stake" all undesirables. You may join orthodox movements, preach nontraditional religions, aggressively recruit supporters.
- Poor essay. If the energy is in the negative, you may not reveal yourself as a recognized specialist or pay attention to a decent reward for your work. As a result, you slip into poverty and secretly even take pride in it.
- Desperate. Being in the negative, you spend a lot of energy to reveal the truth to people and pass on your knowledge. However, if there are only ungrateful students around you, you will have no recharge. Very often, you despair or become exhausted. You reject your recognition, lose your authority, leave people, remaining only with your knowledge.
How to bring energy into positive
- Fight doubts by viewing them as an opportunity for personal growth. Identify your strengths and listen to your intuition.
- Have confidence in yourself otherwise fear and uncertainty will always be present.
- Don't try to deceive others. A confident person shows respect for self and others.
- Use relaxation and meditation techniques appropriate for you to calm the mind.
- Gradually relax rigid rules and delegate responsibilities to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Change habits little by little so as not to overload yourself.
- Learn to let go of control and discover the opportunities that come with it. Reflect on what you can learn from this.
- Realistically evaluate your work by asking yourself whether you are going in the right direction, whether it gives you satisfaction and adequate income, whether you love what you do. Consider whether it is time to change paths.
- Take breaks from work to be more productive. At the end of the day, focus on the positive moments and cultivate good relationships with colleagues.
- Continue to learn new things, improve your skills, research and write articles in your field. This will make your life meaningful.
- Share your knowledge with others without hiding your talents. By teaching you develop your potential.
