Fourth among the Major Arcana, The Emperor represents authority, power and order. People with this energy are confident, ambitious and have strong charisma. They can control surrounding processes and are pragmatic, rational and emotionally stable. They are adept at achieving success, leading others and maintaining order in their lives.
Conditions of The Emperor
Positively
- Power and success. Usually, one way or another, you make your way to power and achieve success. You rightly deserve authority on the team; you always have the last word, whether at home or at work. This is the energy of psychologically mature people who have achieved success in life and know how to achieve it.
- Authoritative leader. It is not at all necessary for you to occupy a high official position. You could be a shadow leader with authority. You know how to lead, you do not hesitate to delegate responsibility, you control implementation, and you always complete what you start.
- Rationality. You cannot afford to show emotions. Even in the most difficult situations you are calm and rational, all your actions are consistent and clear. You know how to manage money and strive to increase capital.
- Order. You value order and try to eliminate any accidents that might bring chaos into your life. Your ideal: precise fulfillment of tasks, strict hierarchy and strict discipline. You are able to negotiate and build systems.
- Protection. This is a rather powerful energy that gives you good protection and the ability to overcome any obstacles on the way to your goal. In almost any situation, you are able to protect yourself and defend all that is dear to you.
- Family. Sooner or later, you become the head of your family or group, where you establish a strict hierarchy. Gender in this case does not matter. You are ready to do anything to ensure that your family lives in abundance.
Negatively
- Control or tyranny. If the energy develops in a negative direction, you turn from an authoritative leader into a tyrant or controller. You begin to demand from those around you the impeccable fulfillment of your will, regardless of personal goals and interests. This mainly affects your family members. The more you are tolerated, the worse your behavior becomes.
- Arrogance. If you achieve certain successes and do not engage in personal development, you become extremely arrogant. You exaggerate your importance, you evaluate those around you in a biased way, and it is difficult to please yourself, much less convey your point of view. In adolescence you quarrel with your parents, especially your father.
