Our Father

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
As in heaven so on earth.
Give us today our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive them to our debtors,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail, O Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with you.
You are blessed among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and in the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory to the Father

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, now and always,
Throughout the ages of the ages.
Amen.

I think

I believe in one God,
Almighty Father,
Creator of heaven and earth,
Of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord, Jesus Jesus,
only begotten Son of God,
Born of the Father before all ages:
God from God, Light from Light,
True God from true God,
generated, not created,
Of the same substance as the Father;
Through him all things were created.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
And by the work of the Holy Spirit
became incarnate in the womb of the Virgin Mary
And he became a man.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate,
He died and was buried.
On the third day he was resurrected, according to Scripture,
Has ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father.
And again he will come, in glory,
To judge the living and the dead,
And his reign will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, who is Lord and gives life,
And it proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified,
And he spoke through the prophets.
I believe the Church, one, holy, catholic and apostolic.
I profess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
Waiting for the resurrection of the dead
And the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Angelus Domini

The Angel of the Lord brought the announcement to Mary
And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary...

Here I am, I am the servant of the Lord.
Let your word be fulfilled in me.
Hail Mary...

And the Word became flesh.
And he came to dwell among us.
Hail Mary...

Pray for us, holy Mother of God.
Because we are made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:
Infuse our spirit with your grace, O Father;
You, who at the angel's announcement
You have revealed to us the incarnation of your Son,
For his passion and cross
Lead us to the glory of the resurrection.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Morning Prayer to the Holy Spirit by St. Teresa of Avila

Holy Spirit, Love of God,
Descend upon me.
Open my heart that I may welcome
Your love, Your light, Your strength.
Teach me to pray, to hope, to trust You.
Fill my heart with peace, with joy, with courage.
Make me an instrument of Your love and mercy.
Amen.

Act of offering of the day of St. Therese of Lisieux

My God, I offer you all the actions I will do today.
With the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus;
I want to sanctify the beats of my heart,
my simplest thoughts and works
Combining them with his infinite merits,
And repair my sins by casting them into the furnace of His merciful love.
O my God! I ask You for me and for my loved ones.
The grace to do your holy will perfectly
And to accept for love of you the joys and sorrows of this passing life,
So that one day we may be reunited in heaven for all eternity.
Amen.

Angel of God

Angel of God, who are my guardian,
Enlighten, guard, rule and govern me
I was entrusted to you by Heavenly Mercy.
Amen.

Eternal Rest

Eternal rest give them, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
Rest in peace.
Amen.

Offering of the Day to Most Holy Mary

O Mary, my mother,
I offer you this day,
You also offer to the Lord,
For me and for all souls
How much I will do and all that will happen to me,
Let my heart always be yours
And never let me fall into sin.
Amen.

Offering of the Day to the Heart of Jesus

Divine Heart of Jesus,
I offer you through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Mother of the Church,
In union with the Eucharistic Sacrifice,
prayers and actions,
The joys and sufferings of this day:
In reparation for sins and for the salvation of all men,
In the grace of the Holy Spirit,
To the glory of the Divine Father.
Amen.

Morning Prayer

Lord, in the silence of this rising day,
I come to ask you for peace, wisdom and strength.
Today I want to look at the world with eyes full of love,
Be patient, understanding, gentle and careful,
See beyond appearances your children as you see them yourself
And so see nothing but good in each of them.
Close my ears to every murmur,
Guard my tongue from all slander,
That only thoughts of blessing dwell in my spirit.
May I be so benevolent and joyful
That all who approach me feel your presence.
Clothe me with your beauty, Lord,
And let me in the course of this day reveal you to all.
Amen.

Keep me in This Day, Lord

Keep me in this day, Lord,
In your goodness and love.
Give me your peace, your light,
And guide my steps along the way.
Let me at all times be able to
To feel your presence and help.
Make me an instrument of your peace
And of your mercy for all.
Amen.

Prayer to God the Father

O God, Father of mercy,
that you created

Or man to love him
And to share your glory with him,
Hear our prayer.
Give us your grace,
Lead us in your truth,
And make all our actions conform to your will.
Grant us your peace
And enable us to live as your true children,
Loving you above all things and loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Morning Prayer (O God, you are my God, at dawn I seek you)

O God, you are my God,
At dawn I look for you,
Of you my soul thirsts,
To you my flesh yearns,
As a barren, arid, waterless wasteland.
So in the sanctuary I contemplated you,
Looking at your power and glory.
For your grace is worth more than life,
My lips will say your praise.
So I will bless you all my life:
In your name I will lift up my hands.
I shall be satiated as if at lavish banquet,
And with voices of joy my mouth will praise you.
When I think of you who have been my help,
I exult with joy in the shadow of your wings.
To you my soul clings:
Your right hand sustains me.
Amen.

Prayer for a Generous Heart

Lord, give me a generous heart,
Capable of loving unconditionally,
Ready to forgive and understand.

And respond with compassion and generosity.
Teach me to give without expecting anything in return,
To serve with joy and humility,
And to find my happiness in making others happy.
Amen.

Prayer for Recognizing God in Others

Lord, help me to see your face
In every person I meet today.

And to bring your light and peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is offense, may I bring forgiveness,
Where there is discord, may I bring union,
Where there is doubt, that I bring faith,
Where there is error, let me bring the truth,
Where there is despair, may I bring hope,
Where there is sadness, may I bring joy,
Where there is darkness, may I bring light.
O Master, let me not seek so much
To be consoled, as much as to console,
To be understood, as much as to understand,
To be loved, as much as to love.
For giving is received,
By forgiving one is forgiven,
By dying you are resurrected to eternal life.
Amen.

Prayer for Bliss

Lord, make me blessed according to your heart.
Make me poor in spirit, that of me may the kingdom of heaven be.
Make me weep, that I may be comforted.
Make me meek, that I may inherit the land.
Make me hungry and thirsty for righteousness, that I may be satisfied.
Make me merciful, that I may find mercy.
Make me pure in heart, that I may see God.
Make me a peacemaker, that I may be called a child of God.
Make me persecuted for righteousness' sake, that of me may the kingdom of heaven be.
Amen.
