Fourteenth among the Major Arcana, Temperance represents balance, calmness and sensitivity. People with this energy are calm, harmonious and sensitive. They can find harmony in any situation and inspire others with their serenity. They have impeccable control over themselves, manifesting modesty and dignity. Despite this, they are deeply sensitive and appreciate art and music. Their patience and peaceful disposition make them capable of resolving conflicts wisely.

Conditions of The Temperance

Positively

  • You are calm. You are a very calm and quiet person. You don't get angry easily and you always see the positive side of things, even when they are difficult. People around you are happy when you are there because you bring light and warmth. You set a good example for others, even though you may not realize it.
  • Live in harmony. You try to be well in all aspects of your life. You care for both your spirit and your body, you think about your family but also about your work. You are neither rich nor poor, but this makes you happy.
  • You are modest and you control yourself well. You don't like to brag or show off. You are always polite and behave well. You don't like to stand out from others and can control your words, actions and emotions well. You don't easily let others know what you really think.
  • You are sensitive. Although you control yourself well, you are a very sensitive person. You deeply feel everything going on around you, you care about others, you can tell when someone is lying or pretending. You like music, good books and movies. You might be good at creating artistic things.
  • You are patient and quiet. You don't like to be in a hurry, you are very patient, and you prefer to resolve disputes peacefully. You know how to make peace with people around you, finding wise solutions that are good for everyone. When there is a difficult problem, you don't try to solve it right away, but find other ways.

Negatively

  • You are unbalanced. You lose your balance and this does not make you live well. Problems arise precisely from this imbalance and can affect one part of your life or all of it together. For example: you forget about your health and think only about work, you spend too much time on your appearance and too little on learning new things, you become rude and angry, and so on.
  • You give up everything. That's one of the ways you can lose your balance, and that's what happens most often. You focus only on the spirit and stop caring about material things. You settle for little, you don't try to improve your situation, and in the end you completely neglect your work, home and family.
  • You close in on yourself. You are too modest and afraid to spoil the balance in yourself and the world around you, so you close yourself off and don't take care of other people's problems. You become quiet and reserved, not wanting to share your thoughts and feelings with your family. Slowly you lose your self-confidence, blame yourself and live with the grudges of the past.
  • You become numb. You are used to hiding your feelings and don't want to develop your creative abilities, so you become a bit like a "piece of wood" that has no emotions. Over time, you stop loving yourself and love no one else, completely despise art and ignore your desires.

How to bring energy into positive

  • Live fully. Reorganize your days to make them more joyful and interesting. Include physical activity, hobbies and time for yourself.
  • Get your schedule in order. List the pending activities that you put off. Give yourself a deadline for each one. Get them completed on time and your mood will improve.
  • Be more proactive. Set goals and commit to them. They must be as specific as the steps to achieve them.
  • Overcome your fears. To be successful, you have to get rid of doubts. Act in spite of fear and you will feel it slowly fade away.
  • Believe in yourself and your potential. You can achieve your goals.
  • Choose a sustainable rhythm. Do not be in a hurry to decide, maintain a balanced and peaceful lifestyle.
  • Be consistent in your work. Manage tasks well by avoiding overload. Be active and focus on useful things. Make sure to complete tasks.
  • Share your concerns. Talk it over with someone you trust. After the confrontation, the situation will no longer seem hopeless.
  • Prioritize the activities you love. Find fun and stimulating pastimes. Do what gives you joy and pleasure.
  • Release your emotions. Eliminate what prevents you from expressing them. Find a space where energy can flow. You need rest, good sleep, healthy nutrition and movement.
  • Find the balance in everything. Discover the limit of the permissible in every area: work, relationships, fun.
  • Be patient. Observe and take time to solve problems. Allow yourself to analyze the situation and clear your mind.
